Why not just use Claude’s own library?

Claude can share skills inside your organization. SkillKeeper merges them, keeps them as your own files, checks them on any plan, and sends them to the people outside your organization who need them.

Claude’s library, on Team and Enterprise: owners provision skills, members can publish to the organization with optional review, duplicates get a hint, versions and group access exist, and a published skill reaches everyone by itself.

CLAUDE ALONE
WITH SKILLKEEPER
Duplicates
Claude aloneSimilar skills sit side by side, flagged “possible duplicate”.
With SkillKeeper
Merged into one best version.
Similar skills are grouped automatically. Claude drafts the best of all of them, with every section’s origin shown, and a lead applies it. The team ends up with one way of doing each thing.
Other AI tools
Claude aloneSkills stay inside Claude.
With SkillKeeper
The same files work in ChatGPT, Codex, Perplexity Computer, Cursor, Copilot, Gemini CLI and more.
The library is the open Agent Skills format. Delivery is automatic in Claude; for the others you upload or point them at the files, today by hand.
Who owns the skills
Claude aloneThey live inside Claude’s admin screens.
With SkillKeeper
Your company’s own files.
Plain SKILL.md folders in a private repository. They survive a change of vendor, plan or admin.
GitHub
Claude aloneNot needed.
With SkillKeeper
Not needed either.
SkillKeeper can host the repository for you, or create it in your company’s own GitHub. Nobody opens it.
Reading every skill
Claude aloneClaude’s own scan is Enterprise-only.
With SkillKeeper
Every byte read before a skill spreads, on every plan.
Hidden text, instructions aimed at the model, secrets, links that reach out, and a reading by Claude. A skill is text an AI obeys; someone should read it first.
Claude plans
Claude aloneNeeds Team or Enterprise, and an Owner.
With SkillKeeper
Works on Pro and Max too, with any member as the lead.
Most companies of five to fifty are not on Enterprise.
Outside your company
Claude aloneSharing stops at the organization boundary.
With SkillKeeper
Send a sealed copy to any email address.
The recipient reads everything before it enters their library, and the origin is recorded. That is how know-how travels to clients, partners and peers.
Day one
Claude aloneYou start with an empty library.
With SkillKeeper
A person sets it up with you.
Black Matter VC builds the starter library from your company’s own public material and walks the lead through the first week.
Connecting Claude
Claude aloneNothing to connect.
With SkillKeeper
One paste, done once.
On Team and Enterprise an owner adds the library once for everyone; on Pro and Max each person adds it once.
GitHub

No GitHub account needed

Your published library is a set of plain files in a private repository. You choose where that repository lives. Either way, nobody on the team opens it.

SkillKeeper hosts it

No GitHub account at all. SkillKeeper keeps the repository for you, and Claude syncs from it.

Your company’s own GitHub

SkillKeeper creates the repository in your organization and keeps it in shape. The files stay yours if you stop using SkillKeeper.

Beyond Claude

The same skills in ChatGPT, Perplexity and the rest

A skill is a folder with a SKILL.md file inside. Anthropic released that format as an open standard, Agent Skills, and dozens of tools now read it. Write it once, review it once, use it everywhere.

Automatic delivery is Claude today. For the others, SkillKeeper gives you the files in exactly the shape they expect.
